How do I buy stock art from the Tavern?
For the time being, purchases are delivered directly. e-mail us if you’d like to license a work.
How do I get the art after I’ve purchased it?
You’ll receive a download link at the e-mail address you used to make your purchase.
What if I don’t get the download link?
First, check your e-mail spam folders. If your link hasn’t arrived within 12 hours, e-mail us and we’ll make sure it is sent.

What does “request” mean?
If you see works in our gallery or if you have an idea for new art you would like to use either personally or in a commercial project, e-mail us and we’ll see if we can add it to the Tavern menu.
What is Stock Art?
Some works owned by the studio and our artists are made available to clients under a non-exclusive license. This gives you limited rights in the works in exchange for a one-time fee.
What does non-exclusive mean?
Works licensed non-exclusively may be used by many different clients simultaneously.
Can I get exclusive rights?
Yes. You can commission original works from the studio at any time.
Why are the prices so low?
The purpose of our stock art catalog is to make it possible for our clients and customers to use pro-quality art and assets at affordable prices.
Can I use your art to make money?
Yes. The only restriction on stock art products is that you can’t sub-license them or resell them as standalone works. They must be incorporated into some other product like a game, a book or a video.
Are there any other restrictions?
Our stock art products may not be used in illegal or offensive projects. Basically, if you can’t show it to your mom, you can’t use our art in it. That excludes all the things you think it excludes and there are no exceptions.
Do I have to pay royalties?
No. Once the initial license fee is paid, you may use the work without paying any additional royalties.
Do I have to credit the studio?
No. If you want to use our name or any of our logos or trademarks in your project, you need permission.
What if I don’t like a work after I’ve licensed it?
We have an unconditional seven-day money-back guarantee.
Can I make changes to the stock art I license?
Yes, provided you understand the creation of any derivative works grant you no additional rights to the original or the changes.
Can you make changes for me to the stock art I license?
Yes. You will be required to pay for the extra labor and the changed piece will be licensed to you under terms identical to the original.
Can you convert art and assets to different formats for me?
Yes, provided we have the correct software. There is an additional charge for that service.
